Happy To Be

CMF Best Picture Winner 2014

For the 2014 Campus Movie Fest (CMF) competition at Indiana University, I wrote, produced, shot, directed, and edited this film, Happy To Be.  CMF is a week long film competition that travels across the country to 100+ universities.  The participants form their own film crews and each crew gets a week to produce and submit a 5 minute short film.  My team and I were thrilled to win Best Picture at the 2014 competition at Indiana University and we moved on to the CMF Hollywood competition June 2014.

Our film was also chosen as one of five films from the entire nation to be shown on Virgin American Airlines throughout the summer 2014.

Indianapolis Zoo Opened 50 Years Ago at Washington Park

This is an edition of a WTIU/WFIU Indiana Newsdesk segment that I produce monthly.  For this segment I conducted interviews in addition to writing, editing, and filming B-roll footage.  Our team covered the zoo’s 50 year anniversary celebration.  The segment includes an interview with the Indianapolis Zoo’s Public Relations Specialist, Carla Knapp.  We had a lot of fun filming around the zoo and getting a behind the scenes look at the zoo’s mission of animal conservation.
